1. Information We Collect
Palpa AI collects information necessary to operate the restaurant platform: restaurant profile data (name, location, contact), staff account information (name, email, role), menu and inventory data, order and payment records, and customer session data (table number, order history, AI chat interactions).
2. How We Use Information
Information is used exclusively to provide and improve the Palpa AI service: processing orders, managing inventory, generating analytics, providing AI waiter responses, and ensuring security and compliance. We do not sell personal data.
3. Data Security
Palpa AI uses industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, HTTP-only session cookies, role-based access control, and branch-level data isolation. Customer session data is temporary and expires after dining.
4. AI Interactions
Customer AI chat interactions are processed to understand orders and preferences. All AI tool executions are audited for transparency. AI conversations are retained temporarily for operational purposes.
